Another addition to my second block of watchmen. This time, it comes from the Marauder Miniatures range MM60.
The painting of the shield was quite a challenge (it's incredibly difficult to draw properly a dog head - like it was for the lamb!): what you see is my third attempt to get something not too far from what I had in mind.
They look great together! I have to say the pictures are looking very dark and murky these days, as if they are in a strong shadow. I think it's a full step too dark in the camera settings. I took a minute (literally) in Lightroom to brighten it up so you can see if you agree: https://imgur.com/a/IYVvy With access to the RAW image one could do this this even better.
Thanks a lot for noticing and trying to correct the effect. I find indeed my pictures very dark too, but I thought it was due to my laptop. Obviously, it's more than that. I've recently changed my desk and the position of the lamps. That plus an ageing camera. I'll try to modify the default settings, to see if it improves the pictures. Thanks again!
DeleteExcellent!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kym
DeleteNice ! This one will bring death in your dwarfs rank !
