1121 points

Family photo of my Citadel slayers. Obviously, the standard bearer is not everyone's cup of tea and I may decide in the future to replace him by an "ordinary" slayer. I'll see if I can grab the old dragon slayer on eBay...

Anyway, I will count them as Giant Slayers and give them light armours and double-handed weapons:

So 10 times 8 +2 + 2 makes 120 points: I am now the proud owner of a 1121 pt dwarf army :)

  1. They are simply beautiful, Jaeckel! But you knew that already. I don't suppose you could get a whole army shot for us? That would be ace. Also, don't forget to pay for the banner for your slayers - you've actually got 128 points there (so, 1129 points - much better :P )

    1. You're right! For a strange reason, I've always thought slayers were not allowed to have any musician or standard bearer in their ranks o_O But since I'm considering removing Throbin, I'm going to count the 10th dwarf as a normal fighter, not as a SB.

    2. By the way, I realise that you multiply by 2 the initial value of the warrior, not the value of the guy once he's equiped. Is it the correct way to count SBs and musicians? That would mean that I've painted less points than expected :(

    3. That's how I do it - although I know other double the end result. You don't notice it on the cheaper troops, but try doing that for mounted chaos warriors and it soon makes a difference!

  2. I have four of those reprobates with paintjobs that aren't a patch on your brush-magick. Inspirational stuff!

  4. Superbe.
