Numbers 6 and 7

Mister Walrus rolled badly and ended up with a mutation that’s... let’s just say... meh… For this warrior, I used the same model as the leader of the previous regiment, with only minimal changes.

Mister Rhino was luckier (well, sort of) and rolled one four-finger giant hand... not exactly graceful, but more than useful to grab a troll femur and smash enemies.

Still 3 empty slots to fill with the command group!

First rank done

The latest member of the club of Troll Flesh Eaters is a simple conversion of another Giant Slayer miniature, featuring a basic swap of axe blades using one of the Chaos Troll weapons, and replacing the gems in the beard with miniature skulls.

With this fifth model, the first rank of this new regiment is finally complete.

The models of the second rank are almost ready for painting... I just need to finish the standard bearer.

And four

This is another conversion based on a "2nd generation" Marauder Miniatures Giant Slayer. I shaved his head, tried to reconstruct the back muscles that were hidden beneath the removed hair, and swapped his right hand for that of a Chaos Troll, now brandishing a massive sword.

I'm slowly realizing that my initial intent to paint all the Marauder Miniatures Chaos Dwarfs I own has gradually drifted toward something different. As a result, I bought new models, converted and painted them to support the "real" Chaos Dwarf Warriors... and ended up with more unpainted models than at the beginning of the project.

Well... I guess it's the usual fate of unfocused hobbyists.
