Slayers #1 to #5

All right, it's time to unleash my slayers on the web. To tell the truth, I'm not totally happy with them, one of my (many) weaknesses being the painting of a convincing flesh on large areas (well, sort of large). Anyway, the deadline for the Bugman's contest is in two days, so I have no time left for improvement. Pictures now!

All in line:

See you tomorrow for the next batch of orange guys :)

  1. They look really good. Nice neutral colours and a real change to see more natural hair colours rather than the commonplace orange.

  2. Great slayers! Great to have you back :-) i feared you had abandoned your dwarfs.

Can i be cheeky and ask your recipe and method for your leather jerking and bags? Its awesome!

    1. Thanks both of you :) For the bag of the last trollslayer, I use a base of VMC US Field Drab, highlighted with GW Bleached Bone and shadowed with VGC Sepia ink.

  3. Nice one Jaeckel, I agree with Stonecoldlead, the more natural take on the hair colour is inspiring, great job. Love the axe head work too, it's outstanding. Good luck with the contest.
