Militia done (again)

That's it! I'm officially done with Pfeildorf's Guildhouse and its militia :)

A Dwaf Ambassador

Zamnil Sharpblade represents the trading interests of Karak Norn in the free city. As such, he is a regular guest of the GuildHouse, and sometimes joins the masters of the guilds when they parade with the militia. The only thing he stubbornly refuses is to use a halfling to bear the arms of his Karak.

The model is a Citadel dwarf merchant "Ragnar Geltberg", slightly converted by rotating the left hand and adding phalanges. The color scheme and the arms of Karak Norn come from the last Dwarf Army book for Warhammer (before AoS).

Empire handgunner #1

All right. With this first handgunner (F7), I'm putting an end to the obsessive collection and painting of all the Marauder MM60 fighters. At last 😛

Don't worry, you'll see him again and again, as I've bought this model a couple of times to build this regiment.

Spearman and Spearwoman

OK. Let's start with Spearman, a Marauder MM60 fighter, reference F3. His shield indicates that he's been probably equiped by the minor guild of Pfeildord's Smiths.


Then comes a Citadel F2 fighter: Agnes. Not convinced it's a Morrison's model, but she's welcome in the militia!

Enrico Boldlance

After retracing Pieter's footsteps in the sands of Araby, I'm back in town!

To begin with, I've decided to complete (once again :|) the militia of the guilds, by painting a last batch of spearmen. Since I haven't any Marauder Miniatures left, I've picked one Citadel F2 fighter: Enrico Boldlance.

Given the coat of arms on the shield (inspired from a Cadwallon illustration by Gary Chalk), he's probably equiped by the Guild of the Rivermen, one of the minor guilds of Pfeildorf.

OWAC III Conclusion

It's time to conclude the crusade of Pieter the Pious: 66 models painted in a six-month period, plus one month to prepare them.

My initial intent was to use the imperial miniatures unable to join my Pfeildorf army, and of course, I ended up buying a bunch of new models matching the religious theme of Pieter's band... I guess I'm lucky that clerics and monks are not the most sought-after oldies on eBay 😑. Anyway...

I now have two armies to use my Citadel and Marauder imperial miniatures: the plan is still to replace red dot by green ones... and stop adding red dots of course...

I'll try to beef up my pilgrims in the coming months.

The last monks

Last but not least to conclude the OWAC III, three monks painted to join Pieter's followers.
The cross bearer is an old Harlequin miniature, slightly modified by adding candles. The other monks come from the Citadel C3 clerics and C46 villagers ranges.
