Militiaman #6

And here is the wealthy leader of my militia: a member of the GuildHouse. Given his equipment, I don't expect him to stay in the front rank during battles :p


The model comes from MM62 range, reference CZ8.

Militiamen #4 and #5

Two new members of Pfeildorf's Guildhouse militia, both from the MM62 citizen range. The sword of the first reference (CZ16) was already missing when I bought it: I've simply added a spear from Bood-Wargames Miniatures.


For the second one (CZ23), I've removed the dagger, filled the hole with brown stuff and added a shield.


And the first rank is now complete:

That's it: with this third model (MM62 CZ19), you know how the whole militia will look like. Now I have to paint these 3 references again and again, with small conversions to add some diversity...

Militiaman #2

I've started to work on my second regiment: the militia employed by the GuildHouse of Pfeildorf, mostly armed with a spear and wearing a leather jerkin.

The model comes from the Empire citizen range MM62 (reference CZ22), with a small addition in Brown Stuff to paint the colors of the militia  (white and red). Nothing much to add, except that this long spearhead is a real pain to paint properly :(

100 points of Flagellants

Not easy to combine MM60 and MM62 references with the MM65 giants :( Anyway, my first Empire regiment is now complete.

I still have some MM65 models and could easily add one or two ranks. We'll see...

Warrior Priest...

... or flagellant #10. A fighter from the MM60 range, reference F6. When I bought this model, I was pleased to discover the book tied in the back and immediately decided to include it in my band of Flagellants.

The beggar

Admittedly not the most glorious figure of my Empire army, but quoting WD 138 about the Flagellants of the Apocalypse:

It is now a common sight in the Empire to see warbands of penniless zealots whipping and beating themselves as they travel from village to village, begging scraps of food and preaching their nightmare vision of doom and despondency.

"Pennyless" and "begging food", perfect match for this model! (MM62 reference CZ6).
