Second fanatic of this new unit, I've made a few changes to the original model (MM65):
- on top of the backpack, I've added a wooden panel maintained by chains (all bits from the flagellant plastic sprue). My initial intent was to transform this model into a standard bearer, but I've found a better idea (to see in a future post);
- I've extended the weapon with the upper part of a club carried by a gnoblar;
- and finally, I've glued a skull and a scroll below the pile of books in the back.
For the painting, nothing new compared to the previous model... except the hair and beard that were even worse to paint!
Very nice - the hair draws your eye to the face so I think it works well. Looking forward to seeing the completed unit.
ReplyDeleteMe too. Three converted models are ready for painting. I'm still struggling with the "flagellant warmachine" I have in mind, and I also need to convert one last model. More to see in the coming months I guess...
DeleteI really love the belt in his mouth, great as usual. Maybe the cub is a bit like "the gendarme" and "Guignol"... Sorry but it's my "Lyon's part" speaking 😉
ReplyDeleteAh! The club is indeed weird. But the whole concept of crazy flagellants too :p
DeleteMagnifique!!
ReplyDeleteThe mods are great and paint job as well of course! Great work on the text on the scroll too!

Thanks for noticing the scroll :)
Merci. La 3e fig ne devrait plus tarder...
DeleteGreat work!
ReplyDeletethanks a lot!
