The Guildmasters of Pfeildorf and their militia

I really wanted to complete this regiment before the end of this year. As I said before, the 8 last models painted these last two weeks were meant for the rear rank, so, even if the painting is not perfect, it is barely visible :)

Enough talking, pictures! On the front rank, the Guildmasters, the shield bearers and their fiercest bodyguard. Behind them, a bunch of Marauder Miniatures (mainly from the citizen MM62 range) and a last rank of Citadel Fighters/Dogs of War designed by Aly and Trish Morrison.

And now the army points: my militiamen are equipped with spears and light armour, plus a musician and a standard bearer, which gives a total of 272 points. Less than 10% of the whole army... Sigh.

    1. Thanks. Please, don't mention the unpainted 90% :)

  2. They look like a painting :) The composition is superb - it looks like a group of men (beings?) stood together rather than four ranks of miniatures. 272 points? Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say. Just imagine how beautiful the entire army will look especially next to the Dwarves.

  5. Wonderful looking unit, and a great use of many old miniatures, including merchant miniatures. Really lovely painting. I like the use of the Halfling pages. The positioning of the standard bearer in the second rank really allows a better visual effect for the front rank.
A Guildmaster regiment is a good idea, I might borrow it for my Marienburg army (based on the Empire army list).

    1. Merci.
